At Azimuth we believe in the full package. We place a strong emphasis on molding not just great athletes but successful student-athletes. Azimuth Athletics Summer Track & Field Training Program offers event specific instruction for student-athletes in grades 6-12 and individuals who are 18+. Athletes will have access to Blackstone-Millville Regional High School outdoor and indoor facilities and instruction from NCAA-level coaches and former athletes. Azimuth Athletics will develop a personal athletic profile for each student-athlete highlighting accomplishments.

Who: Student-Athletes 6-12th grade & 18+
What: 8 weeks of athletic training, nutrition education, and college assistance

Symonne Scott has over 10 years of track & field experience and knowledge including four successful years as a NCAA Division II & III student-athlete. She is an 8 time All American and holds various awards, honors, and records in the sprints, relays, and jumps. In addition to coaching private clients, she is currently the Sprint Coach for Lesley University and the Girls Head Coach for Blackstone-Millville Regional High School. Symonne's mission is help athletes succeed on the track as well as in the class room.
Brooke Johanson is a former Division I student-athlete. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island (URI) with a major in communications and minor is business. She was recruited to URI's throwing program on a full scholarship and since graduating her passion has remained with track and field. Throwing is something she cherishes and feel privileged to teach aspiring athletes. Brooke specializes in the discus with a personal recorded best of 135'6" in college. Brooke also has extensive knowledge on how to technically throw all four events (the discus, javelin, shot put, and hammer). She was league champion her sophomore year in Javelin throwing 116'8". Brooke hopes to inspire and make a difference in the lives of athletes looking to learn the techniques of throwing any of these events. Be it for their high school career, college career, or simply for fun she can not wait to make a difference.
Kristin Contre is a certified personal trainer through NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainer Association) and CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist). Kristin graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Fitness. She started Contre Fitness and Critical Breakdown Boot Camp following her graduation. Her intention is to educate and lead her clients towards living a healthy lifestyle. Kristin believes the mind is a powerful thing and is the one thing that can hold you back. If you can change your mind…you can change your body. Kristin is different because she helps set goals for her clientele and motivates beyond expectations. She learns strengths, weaknesses, injuries, and goals. Kristin specializes in proper form, body alignment, exercise programing and nutrition.
